OPEN YOUR EYES, OPEN YOUR MIND...

OPEN YOUR EYES AND OPEN YOUR MIND TO THE WORLD,
THE WORLD IS FULL OF SO MANY INTERESTING POSSIBILITIES.
ONLY AN OPEN, ENQUIRING MIND CAN ENVISAGE,
THE LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES THAT ABOUND AROUND US,
THEN GO ON TO WORK AND MAKE THEM A REALITY...

SO LET'S ALL OPEN THE EYES OF OUR HITHERTO CLOSED MINDS,
WE WOULD TRULY BE AMAZED AT WHAT WE SEE!!!
LET'S NOT LIMIT THE VISIONS AND IMAGINATIONS OF OUR CHILDREN EITHER,
LET'S INSTEAD ENCOURAGE THEM TO PURSUE THEIR WORTHWHILE DREAMS.
THEN JUST STAND BACK, LET THEM BE, AND PREPARE TO BE AMAZED.

THEN WE WILL BE REALLY AND TRULY AMAZED AT WHAT THEY CAN CREATE.
JUST LIKE THE PARENTS OF MOZART, EINSTEIN OR THE WRIGHT BROTHERS,
LIKE THE PARENTS OF FELA ~ABAMI EDA AND OUR OWN DEAR CHINUA ACHEBE,
WHO WERE PROBABLY ALL AMAZED AT WHAT THEIR PROGENY CAME UP WITH...
THE WORLD IS THE LORD'S, AND ALL THE FULLNESS THEREOF.

AND AS WE KNOW WE ARE CREATED IN HIS IMAGE, THUS ARE CREATORS TOO...
SO LET'S JUST GET ON WITH IT AND CREATE MY DEAR FRIENDS,
THERE IS NOTHING STOPPING US BUT OURSELVES, AND OUR CLOSED MINDS.
SO LET'S ALL OPEN OUR EYES AND OUR MINDS MY DEAREST OF FRIENDS,
THEN WE WILL TRULY SOAR LIKE THE EAGLE TO EVER HIGHER HEIGHTS,

Laff my friends, it's good for the soul...

Laff my friends, it's good for the soul,

Laff out loud, it is really good for ya.

Laff at the funny, the absurd, the sublime,

Laff just because you can't help yourself.

Laff when you would otherwise cry, and I know that so well.

Laff from the pits of your stomach, a really good belly laff,

Laff because then the whole world laffs with ya.

Laff my dear friends because it's the best medicine,

Laff my dears, it's just what the doctor ordered.

And ya all know I'm one right???

Laff because it releases your endorphins,

These are the body's happy hormones you know.

Laff because this chases away all the demons,

Let's all laff at the demons of loneliness, depression and despair. 

So again I implore, let's laff my dear friends,

It's certainly good for the soul, and I know.

I laff a lot nowadays at all sorts of stuff, quite often myself...

I laff at the ridiculous, the hilarious, and even just the notorious.

I laff because sometimes the only choice left is to cry...

I laff because I just can't help it sometimes,

And I do hope we will all laff together, forever in eternity...
